Windows 10: after win 11 upgrade unable to run apache thru wampserver64 even after trying to disable...

After 2023-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5029263 I could no longer run Wampserver64 because either the ports needed to run apache web server are blocked or being used by IIS. A technicaian tried uninstalling the update and I tried disabling IIS but neither solved the problem. I also tried to install XAMPP but that gave some warnings about UAC disabling some features even though it is disabled. It gave errors trying to run apache, which are probably due to ports being used or blocked. This has me baffled.

WampServer64

I was trying to install Wordpress on my Laptop using Windows 7 OS.

I need WampServer64 to install MySQL on my system but not found.

Even tried from Start Menu but Wampserver64 not found.

How to solve this problem and get WampServer on my Windows 7

 

Apache

Click Start

Type: cmd

Right click CMD

Click Run as administrator

Navigate to the default Apache installation directory, for example, C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache or wherever apache.exe is located.

You can CD Program Files\Apache Group\Apache

Hit Enter

At the command prompt, type apache -u.

Close the Command Prompt window.

Go to Windows Services and check that Apache is no longer listed as a service.

Press Windows key + R

Type: services.msc

Hit Enter

Uninstall Apache HTTP Server 1.3.26 in Programs and Features

Press Windows key + R

Type: appwiz.cpl

Hit Enter

Scroll through the list.

Delete any Apache installation directories in Windows Explorer, for example, C:\Apache.

 

Upgrade to Win 11

Trying to upgrade laptop to Win 11. My processor is listed on Microsoft compatibility list as one that will work with Win 11, but the health check says it won't and therefore will not allow upgrade. All other items on list are ticked green. Any advice please?
