Windows 10: After Windows 10 rebooted my system, it removed all my applications. Now, Office 2010 won't...

On December 30, 2019, a blue screen announced that Windows 10 was fixing problems. It deleted all my programs, all my email, all my address books, and all my links.. I tried to reinstall Microsoft Office Home and Students 2010 but I was told my key was invalid. I purchased the software from Amazon Japan on April 21, 2012 and have the CDs, product keys, and the receipt from Amazon. The product key worked perfectly in 2012. I am using exactly the same computer, with exactly the same hardware, exactly the same OS, from exactly the same location in Japan. But the product key which worked flawlessly eight years ago is now said to be invalid. Do you really think Amazon should give me a refund? Or should Microsoft provide me with a product key that works?

I am having problems with my samsung omnia 2 with windows mobile 6.5.

i just went to the marketplace to download the office mobile 2010 update. the update went well and i was asked to reboot. however, after reboot, the error message, as stated in the title, is shown when i try to launch office 2010. i cannot remove
it as marketplace says there was an error removing, and there is no "reinstall" button, and i cant delete it off from settings due to marketplace DRM. can someone provide a removal tool or reinstaller to office 2010 mobile? i cannot access the original office
anymore. and a suggestion: make marketplace include a "reinstall" button.

2010 Update problems with Office Starter.

It is not compatible and it is one of the applications you are required to remove before upgrading:

Which versions of Microsoft Office work on Windows 10?

The following versions of Microsoft Office with the latest Service Packs have been confirmed to be compatible with Windows 10:

• Office 2016 Preview
• Office 2013/Office 365
• Office 2010 with exception Office Starter 2010
• Office 2007

Older versions of Office such as Office 2000, Office 2003 and Office XP are not certified compatible with Windows 10 but might work using compatibility mode.

 

Can't remove pinned office applications

My laptop is a Dell Precision 7510, running Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprice 64bit (10.0.15063 Build 15063) and Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus (1701 Build 7766.2092).

My problem is, that beside some useful apps on my taskbar, office has also pinned Word, Excel and PowerPoint. I would like to remove these 3 pinned apps. When unpinning them, they actually disappear, but after next restart (or restart of explorer.exe) they reaper as if nothing had happened.

I have tried following this "guide":

I have seen the above suggestion posted on several sites, but unfortunately it doesn't help in my case.

When executing the script (or preforming the steps manually) all is removed, but after explorer.exe restart below icons always reaper:

• File Explorer
  
• Internet Explorer
  
• Outlook 2016
  
• PowerPoint 2016
  
• Word 2016
  
• Excel 2016
  

Other apps pinned at the time is removed as intended.

Does anyone have a suggestion to how I can remove these unwanted office apps from my taskbar? And why do above list or apps reapear after deleting them from both the %APPDATA% folder and REGEDIT?
