    My husband's computer (Acer Aspire 73 710) apparently performed updates last night (I'm assuming Windows 1903 and KB4023057 because I was getting the same prompts on my laptop) and now a NEW login screen picture pops up with the proper date and time and a wifi symbol on lower right, but we CANNOT GET THE LOGIN FIELDS TO POP UP. We tried Windows key+L, ctrl+alt+del, etc. We were able to restart in safe mode ONE TIME and uninstalled one set of updates, but now safe mode is not working.


    NOTHING AT ALL HAS WORKED. I CANNOT find a solution to this online. I am writing on an HP laptop that is nearing 9 years old and I have not had such issues as this Acer.

    login screens

    goto CONTROL PANEL/ USER ACCOUNTS then you have to remove all the other accounts except for the one you logon with....then restart...it should bypass the login tho it will still show the screen for it...it will continue to load windows...good luck*Rockout :rockout:



    edit:: it asks for a login when there are more then one accounts..or if you set a pw to your login name...
