After Windows 11 22H2 update, after a reboot or lock screen or sign out, when a user does ctrl + alt + del they get a black screen sometimes with a mouse cursor. They then need to do ctrl+alt+del 3-5 additional times to get a login window. This occurs on devices with 1 user or multiple users on the same device. The list below is everything I've found on posts that others have tried. I've given them a shot, the only 100% resolution I've found is a reload. In a lot of cases that is not a good resolutions. Anyone found a another solution to try? 1. Updates. Verify all Microsoft updates are

Sign-On screen not displayed after upgrading to 22H2 in Windows 11 laptop.

Windows 10 was upgraded to Windows 11 and was running fine. Upgraded to 22H2 sometime back and lost the Sign-On screen. After reboot the system would stop at the Live background screen with time and battery displayed but would not show the username/Password/PIN fields. Had to reinstall windows and was running fine. Tried installing 22H2 again but the same issues recurred. Tried Ctrl+Al+Del to force show the Sign-in fields but nothing happens.

Step 2b is labeled as Change the Login Screen Image, but the steps show you how to change the Lock Screen image. Step 2a is irrelevant. It only tells you how to change the desktop background.

What I want to do:
Set Spotlight as the LOCK Screen Image(s) - Done
Set the Win 10 Hero Image as the SIGN IN Screen Image - This is the one that shows after you click on the lock screen and you are able to type your password. If I uncheck "Show Lock Screen Image on Sign In Screen", it shows a solid blue background behind my Password box and user image. This is what I want to change to the Hero Image....

when a user is logged on to a network, can apps that are in use still communicate out to the network when the user locks the screen with ctrl-alt-del to step away from their computer for a few minutes?
