After Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5022303 update, Auto HDR is forced on in my DX12 game. Even with Auto HDR disabled through Windows System settings, when the game launches, it forces both the game and Windows into HDR. This is troublesome as I have no way to disable it through Windows. And the game originally doesn't even have HDR support so there are no options in-game to disable it. The practical issue is that it is trying to display this on an SDR monitor. This causes the colors to be washed out and generally looks terrible.

i5-10600K CPU @ 4.10GHz 4.10 GHz

Motherboard- Z490 gaming plus

HDD Seagate 2Tb

Geforce 1650

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated I have exhausted every avenue possible to try and fix this and it keeps failing the install, sometime the download as well.

I cannot update to "2023-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022303)" It downloads, installs, asks me to reboot but about 96-96% during the reboot it'll say something along the lines of "Something didn't go as planned. No need to worry--undoing changes." I tried everything I could find on a google search with similar issues. SFC /Scannow, the DISM. I ran troubleshooter for windows update, it saw an issue, said it was fixed but it didn't fix my current issue. I did try installing the update outside of the windows update, same issue. i also was going to try to reinstall windows 11 hoping that update i can't update to would install while keeping all files, apps and games but sadly its stuck at "Checking for updates: 14%"

I've had no issues with windows 11 up until now. I'd hate to have to reinstall windows 11 wiping everything and having to reinstall all my games and apps again or worse go back to win10. Plus, it was trouble trying to remove OneDrive and getting all my folders out of the OneDrive Directory since i want nothing to do with OneDrive.

I installed Microsoft Windows 11 Version 22H2 on my laptop on 21-Sep-2022. After that I observed that my system was slow especially with Microsoft Edge and Whastapp Desk top applications.

On 9-Nov-2022 I installed the following

2022-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5019980).

2022-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5020622).

After the above installs my system started performing well.

However, from yesterday 22-Nov-2022 I find that the previous problems returned - Microsoft Edge slow, Whatsapp Desktop slow and not giving notifications.

My Dell laptop has GE Force Graphics Card BUT I uninstalled GE Force Experience long back as it was slowing down my laptop.

Request you to help me with how I can have my PC performance back with Windows 11 Version 22H2.
