Windows 10: After windows restore laptop is still missing components and will not probably install or...

I’ve restore my system, a second time just to make sure. Everything looks fine although it seems I am either blocked or simply unable to install or download updates. Generally speaking the laptop should automatically download and install these components and updates but it will not. I can’t open certain websites it gives me an error message, I am using an Alienware laptop so the Alienware components for the command center won’t download either. I’m not entirely sure why these components won’t download or why even the websites won’t work. Any help would be great.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Thanks for your assistance. However, this didn't work and I am still unable to install the new Windows10 updates. The troubleshooter reported that it solved some issues but it also said:

"Windows Update Components Must Be Repaired" with a red cross and 'Not Fixed'.

What else do you suggest? I really want to update Windows10. What else can you recommend please?
