After Windows update and BIOS update fTPM needs reset, battery draining overnight

I’m having all kinds of problems with my one year old Dell laptop running Windows 11 Home, 22H2, AMD Ryzen 5 processor. It started after a couple different updates, Windows KB5033375 12/14/23 and Dell BIOS 1.13.0 12/17/23 First I got this message right after BIOS was updated:I’m not sure if I have device encryption or not, but I never set the laptop up with it and never saved a recovery key any where, and I know I don’t have BitLocker. I have been selecting N because I don’t want to lock myself out and have to reinstall Windows. I’ve seen another post about this that said to select Y but i

I don't know what to suggest. The first is a pdf file stored by this forum that should download when you click on its link. It should not take you anywhere. I just tested it and it works for me. The HP link works for me. https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/ish_2268927-1713329-16/

    Battery draining overnight

I have been searching for a solution to this problem for weeks, and I am unable to find one. I am hoping someone can help. I leave my laptop plugged in all of the time. I used to be at 100% charged all of the time. For several months now, when I start it up in the morning, there is some battery drain. Sometimes if I am on it for a while, it charges back up to 100%, and sometimes not. I am normally only on it for maybe 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening, but for hours each Saturday and Sunday. It is normally only drained to 96% or 97% but this morning it was at 93%, so I decided to post. I believe I have narrowed it down to an update in May of the Micrsoft health tools that added or turned on Start up boost, but I am not sure. And, if I restart, I am always back at 100%. Could the Start up boost being turned on be the cause of this drain possibly? I have ran battery tests and everything else I could find, but the battery seems to be in good shape. The battery shows 93% available (plugged in) right now.

    Battery draining overnight

Windows records battery levels at [undefined] intervals & at power source changes. Perhaps there is something about it checking the proper level at restart that kicks the SysTray meter. If you are interested, Event viewer logs the battery readings Log - System Source - Kernel-Power EventID - 105

I set up monitoring of them in an Event viewer, Custom view but never found any use for it. My January 2019 battery is still at 100% Full charge capacity / Design capacity but some SysTray readings vary - as you can see in that diagram, it shows as being at 98% charge despite SysTray showing 100% charge. I wonder if the SysTray indicator itself is only intended to be accurate to within 3% or so anyway [the info simply does not exist]. And the abbreviation that made my brain melt earlier was supposed to be NiMH. They often needed their SysTray meters recalibrating. Denis
