Windows 10: AFTER WINDOWS UPDATE EVERYTHING SOUNDS VERY OVERSHARPENED AND NON BASSY

i recently updated my windows pro after a long time , and it cause the sound to be very oversharpened and baseless , its worse while playing games.. its causing some sort of weird surround sound on my stereo speakers. i have tried updating , reinstalling / changing drivers.. also reinstalled windows and checked all the settings nothing seems to work.headphones work perfectly on other devices .. this started happening just after the windows update

in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

I got no sound microsoft or horrible sound
