    After windows update, hitting capslock and space together returns a 0


    I just updated to KB5000802 and now holding capslock and pressing spacebar will return a zero. This happens both on my laptop keyboard and when using an external keyboard, both of which have n-key rollover.While playing games, I hold down capslock to sprint, and need to press spacebar while sprinting, so I need to be able to use both independently. How can I revert back to the original setting?I tried uninstalling the last windows update, but it still says am running the latest version, and when I try again it says "An error has occurred. Not all updates were uninstalled successfully."

    Intel Updates Core 2 Quad Q9550 to E-0 Stepping

    We continue our Monday news list with another Intel story that brings to our attention information concerning the company and more specificly its 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 chips that will move from the current C-1 to the newer E-0 stepping. The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:
    • New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
    • CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
    • Package change to Halide free package
    Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.

    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    • Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    • Click OK.
    • What is the make and model of your computer?
    • What is the exact error message that you're getting when performing an update?
