    So this was a thread questions asked by nazmik on Microsoft and it wasn't given a solution and the thread was closed. I was wondering if somebody could provide me a solution because I am having the exact problem. I have even made it through all the trouble steps that he has gone through and still not luck.     I am not a bot Nor am i try to lore anybody onto a bogus site. I am just new to computers and not very tech Savy yet, but I do know how to follow directions.


    Hi , I updated my windows yesterday Version 1909 OS Build 18363.476 . I have a gaming PC with an MSI Monitor installed to it Optix MPG27C . After the update my screen starts to get darker or brighter . When I open cmd. and make it fullscreen , my screen gets darker and darker overtime . I searched the forum and tried to disable adaptive brightness but there is no option to do it . No adaptive brightness or anything . I even tried the commands from cmd but it is not working . I kind of did all I can do to fix it but nope …


    This is making me crazy as I can not do anything about it …..


    How am I going to solve this Issue???

    How to dim screen?

    I tried googling Windows Ten, "how to dim screen," but the layout listed is not the layout I have. I just got Ten yesterday. How do you dim the screen?

    I can't even find the options in the Display section.

    Have read the blogs. Windows 10 needs to make it EASY for people to dim their screen. This is my 3rd Toshiba laptop and it was easy to adjust the screen on all 3 including this one, until windows 10. Will buy a new laptop without Win 10 before I'll go
    through all the steps to dim screen in win 10 that is listed in the blogs I've read. I did stall an APP that helped but screen still hurts my eyes and creates a headache. Anybody have an EASY answer. It was so easy to work with DOS and windows 3.1. It's been
    a pain for a lot of people ever since they came up with the REGISTRY. Thanks people.

    After windows update screen dimming

    Screen Display Dim

    Since I updated to the new windows 10 version, my display is quite dim. I go into settings to adjust it and it will not let me. The brightness is at full and the screen is at about 20%.

    Suggestions to fix?
