Windows 10: After Windows update, the screen is trembling

Display stuttering after recent update

Follow the instructions below:

Step 1

Click on the "Start" button if the monitor trembles and it is a cathode ray tube.

Step 2

Click on "Control Panel."

Step 3

Click on "Adjust screen resolution" in appearance and customization.

Step 4

Click on "Advanced settings".

Step 5

Click on the "Monitor" tab.

Step 6

Select a higher refresh rate from the list of options below the refresh rate screen.

Step 7

Wait a moment until the screen finishes applying the new setting. Click on "Apply."

Step 8

Click on the "Start" button if the monitor still trembles.

Step 9

Click on "Control Panel."

Step 10

Click on "Adjust screen resolution", which is in appearance and customization.

Step 11

Click on "Resolution" in the drop-down list.

Step 12

Drag the slider up to select a higher resolution.

Step 14

Click on "Apply." Alternatively, click "Back" if you wish to cancel the action.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
