    After Windows Update, W10 computers slow to upload on ethernet. WiFi okay. Download okay....


    Recently my W10 computers became so slow on uploading over ethernet that sending file attachments on Gmail or uploading pictures to Facebook became impossible. Ethernet problem only. The same computers had no problem with uploads over wi-fi. No problem with downloads either way.I had 4 Windows 10 computers in active use and 1 Windows 7 computer. No problem on the W7 computer with ethernet uploads. Same problem on all 4 active W10 computers. I bought a 5th W10 computer. Same problem right out of the box with the 5th W10 computer.I have one W10 computer in addition that I had retired mo

    Do windows updates slow down the computer?

    Basically you might as well have the latest stable drivers on a Opticsl disk or usb drive and then updates thst dont bork the os, install updates, then dtivers and leave the system unplugged from ethernet/wifi then set parameters to prevent windows from updating automatically, save a list of settings you adjudted judt incase sn os update resets it to default etc.

    W10 sounds more like a pita than it's worth to install...
