Windows 10: Age 13 and able to do whatever they want?

Just got a mail from Microsoft saying that when my child turns 13, they can turn off my monitoring.

As I'm legally responsible for this child, why do Microsoft think that 13 is OK?

Very concerned too that location tracking can be disabled. At the moment, any devices lost/stolen can be found by me. As I'm the one who can disable.

Pretty poor lack of respect from Microsoft to the bill payer and the person responsible for a teenager looking to hide what they're looking at

Age Of Empires The Age Of Kings Multiplayer Crash

This issue might happen if the Windows Firewall is blocking the game from connecting to the LAN.

I suggest you to add the Age of Empires the Age of Kings, to the exception list of the Windows Firewall and check if the issue is resolved.

Follow the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X key and select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on View by in the top right panel and select Small Icons.
  
• 
  Find and click on Windows Firewall.
  
• 
  Click on Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall in the left panel.
  
• 
  Click on Change Settings, find and check the Age of Empires the Age of Kings box for both
  Public and Private Columns.
  
• 
  If Age of Empires the Age of Kings is not listed, then click on
  Add and select the installed path of the game.

Age requirement

The legal adult age requirement varies by Country and Region.

At Microsoft, an account is defined by age categories.

Ex: US Region

• Young child: Anyone under the age of 8
• Child: Ages 8 through 12
• Teen: Ages 13 through 17 (or 19 in South Korea)
• Adult: Ages 18 above

We understand your query as you are looking for the age of the PC on the system. In this scenario we would like inform you that if you have not upgraded the BIOS of the PC. Then open system information and there you can see the BIOS date and time.



Steps to check the BIOS date.

1. Press Windows + R key to launch
   Run command.
   
2. Type msinfo32 and click OK.
   
3. Scroll and check the BIOS version in the list of details.

Note: if you have updated the BIOS then you will see the last updated date. In that case we would suggest you to contact the PC manufacturer and provide them the PC information. They can check and
would be able to help you with your requirements.
