Windows 10: Agptek Mp3 player wont play any music files on my SD card

Agptek U3 Mp3 playerSan Disk 32 GB Micro SD cardMy Mp3 player will not read or play any files stored on my micro SD card. I can see all the files stored on the card. They are in the correct format of wma & mp3. Is there anything I need to do to the player or pc for the SD card to be read by the player? I saw an option of "Open as a Portable Device" when right clicking the player in My PC, could it be connected to this? I think My PC is reading it in error as a USB Drive not an Mp3 player/ Removable Disk, which is why the files are not playing. Can anyone help?Thank you

SD Card

The agptek seems to support up to a 256gb sd card. But you mentioned that you are transferring the files to the sd card and then inserting it into the mp3 player correct? With the agptek the sd card needs to be formatted and then inserted into the mp3
player and then connect the mp3 player to your pc to transfer the music onto it. You can find this in the manual here:

AGPTEK U3 USB Stick Mp3 Player, 8GB Music Player

I have a AGPTEK U3 USB Stick Mp3 Player,
8GB Music Player and when i plug it into my computer, the screen lights up showing its connection with my computer and
im able to transfer music. But when I unplug it and try to go to any of the "apps" (FM radio, music, etc.,) it says initializing and then the screen goes black. Not sure why its doing this?

 

Using an SD card for Music in a Lumia 820

I have a Lumia 820.

I have added an SD card for storing music and photos.

When I browse the SD card in Windows explorer I see the music I want to see.

When I browse the phone via the music player I see a different list of music.

Looking further in Windows explorer, I see that there are hidden files in the phone memory music folder. This matches the play list on the phone.

When I choose items on the play list, they play, even though they are not in the SD card music folder.

The files that are on the SD card are not available to play.

This is in spite of making sure the settings are configured to use the SD card for music.

Is it safe to delete the hidden folders?

How do I get the SD card to be visible to the play list?

Note also that the synchronisatin app only sees the hiden files in the phone memory not the files in the SD card, so synching doesn't help either.
