    Ai services using 90-100% CPU power

    Ai services is using 90-100% cpu power. I have tried everything that was recommended to someone who asked the same question and nothings worked. Inspecting Ai services it says it's from an unknown publisher and If in task manager i click "search online" the first thing that pops up says it's malware. but elsewhere I've seen its not and that it's part of Microsofts AI whatever. I've also scanned with Norton and two other anti virus/malware programs and none have brought attention to it. I've tried to delete it but i can't and if it's not a virus im not sure that'd even be safe.

    :)

  2. The "Service Host: Capability Access Manager Service" is casing my CPU Usage to hit 100%

    I just noticed that my CPU usage is at 100% and the "Service Host: Capability Access Manager Service" is responsible. While other apps use between 0 to 5% of the CPU, the "Service Host: Capability Access Manager Service" is using between 80 to 90%. How do I fix or mitigate this?

    Service Host: Network List Service hogging CPU

    I have a Surface Go running Windows 10 (not 10S), and recently (last few weeks) whenever it wakes from Sleep "Network List Service" starts using at least 30% of my CPU. Often my combined CPU use is 100%. This goes on for a minute or more. None of my
    other computers have this problem. Suggestions?

    AI Service is bringing my CPU to 100%

    Hey, how you doing?

    Thank you for contacting us and welcome to the Microsoft Community.

    My name is Vitor. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

    I understand that you have system difficulties regarding 100% disk usage, correct?

    - What is the version and build of Windows 10/11 installed?

    - What is the make and model of your computer?

    Before answering us, perform the steps below in order to correct this difficulty:

    Step 1

    Disable the SysMain service.

    1- Simultaneously press the Windows + R keys, then “Run” will open, type in the blank field "services.msc" (without quotes) and press Enter.

    2 - Locate the " SysMain” service and deactivate it. To do so, double-click on it. In this new window, check the items below.

    3 - Startup Type: Change it to "Disabled".

    4 - Service Status: Change it to "Stopped".

    5 - Click Apply > Ok.

    Step 2

    Disable the Windows schedule.

    1 - Simultaneously press the keys "Windows + R" then the "Run" will open type in the blank field "regedit " (without quotes) and press Enter.

    2 - Access the path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> Schedule

    3- Change the "Start" registry value from 2 to 4

    4 - Restart the computer.

    With this, all Windows scheduled tasks will not be executed and consumption returns to normal.

    If the behavior persists, proceed to the next procedure below.

    Step 3

    clean boot

    Clean boot is so you can determine if a background program is interfering with your system.

    1 - Press the Windows + R keys, type msconfig and click OK;

    2 - In the System Configuration window, click on the services tab;

    3 - At the bottom of the screen, check the box Hide all Microsoft services and click Disable all;

    4 - Click apply and finally OK.

    5 - Restart the computer.

    NOTE: This procedure disables all third-party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, selectively, instead of keeping them all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

    Step 4

    Increase virtual memory.

    1 - Press Windows + X now click on System.

    2 - Then click on the Advanced System Settings button, located on the left part of the screen.

    3 - A new window will open. Click on the Advanced tab and in the Performance area, click on the Settings button.

    4 - In the new window click on the Advanced tab. In the Virtual Memory area, click on the Change button.

    5 - Now uncheck the option to automatically manage paging file size for all drives.

    6 - Now mark the drive that contains the so-called paging file. Now click on the Custom Size button.

    Once this is done, you are able to point out the initial size and the maximum size of virtual memory usage. It is recommended that you mark, at least, a space equal to the size of your RAM memory installed on your computer. That is, if you have 8 GB of RAM, then also point to the same 8 GB of virtual memory.

    Step 5

    Disc Cleanning

    1 - Press the Windows+R keys to open the Run Menu;

    2 - At Run, type: CleanMgr;

    3 - Click OK;

    4 - Click Clean System Files;

    5 - Select the drive where the system is installed;

    6 - Enable all options and click Ok;

    7 - Wait for completion and restart the system.

    Follow the steps exactly and test to see if this fixes it.

    If you need more help, post here, we are at your disposal!
