Windows 10: Ai suite3 error

when I try to open Ai suite3 it comes up with invalid class string, progID

There is only one obvious ASUS utility thing to uninstall (AI Suite3) via Programs & Features > Uninstall - which I have done.

There are also five relevant folders in C:\Program Files (X86)\ASUS

- AI SUite 3

- ASUSFanControlService

- AXSP

- IO

- VGA COM

Do I delete these as well?

However, I cannot find the cpuz143 folder - presumably because the 'user' ADMIN1~1 is not defined in the users list.

(Nor - unsurprisingly - are the missing drivers in C;\Windows\System32\drivers)



Any suggestions how I find it please?

AI Suite 3 issue, the system cannot find the file specified.


The problem was not caused by XTU, but the last cumulative update for Windows, to protect against the Intel CPU flaws.

I see - AI Suite 3 again being named.

Did you delete the folder C:\Program Files\Asus\AI Suite3?

Secondly, have you set Homegroup?
