  2. Airpods Skipping Out on Windows 10

I'm having issues with my Airpods and using high-performance apps like Discord. Whenever I'm only on Chrome or using Excel, the sound's usually fine. When I open Discord, however, the sound cuts in and out and has a skipping/glitching sound underneath it. I know it's my computer because the airpods work perfectly fine with my iphone. Here are the things I've tried to fix with it:

    1. Restarting computer/airpods
    2. Disconnecting/reconnecting airpods
    3. Updating the Bluetooth driver
    4. Messing around with the settings in Device Manager.

I do have a wireless mouse, but I don't think that's the issue here because if I disable it the glitchy sounds are still there. Thanks for your help!

  3. AirPods1 not working on Discord..Messenger call on Windows 11 laptop. What do i do?

    Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing grainy sound on Facebook Messenger and Discord calls while using your AirPods on Windows 11. This issue could be caused by a number of factors, including incorrect audio settings, outdated drivers, or interference from other devices.

Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

    1. Check your audio settings: Make sure that your AirPods are set as the default audio device for both input and output. You can do this by going to the Sound settings in the Control Panel and selecting your AirPods as the default device for playback and recording.
    2. Update your drivers: Make sure that your Bluetooth and audio drivers are up to date. You can do this by going to the Device Manager, right-clicking on your Bluetooth and audio devices, and selecting “Update driver”.
    3. Restart the Bluetooth service: Try restarting the Bluetooth service on your PC. You can do this by pressing the Windows key + R, typing “services.msc” and pressing Enter. Then, find the Bluetooth service, right-click on it, and select “Restart”.
    4. Disable telephony service: If you don’t need to use the microphone on your AirPods, you can try disabling the telephony service to improve audio quality. You can do this by going to the Sound settings in the Control Panel, selecting your AirPods, clicking on “Properties”, going to the “Services” tab, and unchecking the “Telephony” option.
I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue with grainy sound on Facebook Messenger and Discord calls while using your AirPods on Windows 11. Let me know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else I can help with.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Have you made sure that your airpods is set as the default sound device? If yes, please try these steps that might help solve the problem:

I suggest trying to check updates first by going to settings > Windows Updates. Install any pending updates you may find.
