Windows 10: Airpods connecting then disconnecting immediately after with windows 11

I'm trying to use my apple Airpods normal 2nd gen, and almost every time I try to use them after putting them in my ears, I hear the connection chime followed by no audio playing, then the disconnect. I've tried restarting my computer, factory resetting the airpods, disconnecting them and reconnecting, and forgetting the device then repairing and nothing is working. Anyone know how to fix this?

Airpods Connect and Immediately Disconnect

I am having issues connecting my Airpods to my Surface laptop with Windows 10. I can successfully pair the airpods, but when I try to connect them, they immediately disconnect. When they are briefly connected, it doesn't read "voice, music" and I am unable
to get sound. They often connect and disconnect automatically and for brief intervals.

I am occasionally able to connect them with voice and music, but it is apparently random. Once they are connected properly, I have no more issues until I disconnect them manually.

Has anybody experienced this issue, or can anybody offer a solution?

 

airpods disconnect in 1 second

i've been through lots of posts but none seem to fix my issue connecting airpods to my Surface laptop. The airpods paired successfully and when i click connect it connects for about 1 second and then disconnects. I see lots of posts about device manager
and the power manager tab but there is no power manager tab. i see lots of posts about locating aripods in the human interface but they are not listed. i found one post about airpods under the bluetooth menu but nothing there seems to fix anything.

airpods worked seamlessly with my iphone.

For the issue you're encountering, I have the following suggestions.

1. Try to remove the already connected Bluetooth headphones from the Bluetooth settings and then connect the Airpods again.
   
2. Check the Airpods and try to disconnect them from any other connected devices so that only Windows is connected to the Airpods.
   
3. Try resetting the Airpods to their default settings and remove them from the Windows Bluetooth settings along with any other devices.
