Windows 10: aka.ms/activate

I’ve recently reset a windows 10 laptop because it had too many problems. What I’m wondering is why when it’s turned on now, is it telling me to go to this link before I can even start windows. I’m not a willing participant or user of ANY phone links or device/account links and I completely reset the windows installation and didn’t just remove my files and settings. I’ve had a lot of security issues and privacy issues recently with a weirdo who just can’t keep from controlling all of our homes network and devices. I’m wondering if this is related to that and how to mitigate it in this case. Th

For what it's worth.. It's not MS's job to come up with any list of parts that are compatible with WIn10. Never has been and it never will be. It's up to each part vendor to do that and keep the parts current with drivers/BIOS and not MS.

MS Office 2007 no more activated...

I contacted a support manager and the situation is:

1. With all my hardware modifications, I reached the limit number of activation (8).
2. Microsoft is no more capable to force a new activation.
3. They suggested me to uninstall and reinstall Office in order to redo an activation.

This last point is not good for me because of the time required, specially with the online updates.
May be, I have only to delete the product key into the registry but Microsoft is not able to confirm.
Do you have an idea before I try to crack it?
