Windows 10: akg lyra + win 10 = right channel is louder than left in front mode

I've been using this microphone for about a year. I recently noticed that when recording a voice in FRONT mode, the sound is output to the right channel louder than to the left. When you connect headphones to the microphone monitoring slot, the sound is output correctly. This means the problem is in interaction with the system. The problem has been relevant since March.

AKG LYRA + WIN 10 = Cracking playback

Hi, I've been using AKG LYRA for more than a year now.

It works well with my Lenovo laptop, Win8, Ableton.

I recently upgraded to an Acer NITO 5 laptop, Win 10.

NOW, the recording playback is full of CRACKING SOUNDS.

i use Ableton, (cracking sounds on playback)

I tested on Audacity (it has cracking counds too)

even Windows Voice recorder has cracking souns too.

 

PC not differentiating Left/Right channel properly

I have an .mp3 (Bohemian Rhapsody to be exact). When I play it on my Mobile (Xiaomi Redmi 2), the lyrics "Little High", "Little Low" which are supposed to be on left and right channels respectively are very clear and if you are only wearing the left headphone you would only hear "Little High" and not "Little Low" and vice versa. This is not the case with my PC.

How do I resolve this? I rechecked the sound file multiple times and also used this. I think i am missing some setting in my PC.

I've tried playing with VLC, iTunes and WMP to no avail. I am using Windows 10.

Edit - I hear "Little high" and "Little low" in both left and right headphones on my PC. But when on PC, "Little high" is louder in left and loud but not-as-loud-as-in-left in right. I cant find any setting for Mono as you guys suggested. Driver is Realtek HD Audio.

Are you using a different version of Windows? Your instructions do not fit with what I see on my Win 10 screen. See below.

The signal is on the left channel and there is only noise on the right channel. I do not primarily want to adjust the levels, I want to swap the channels left -> right. Closing down the left channel then would be a marginal improvement.
