Windows 10: Alarm noise

Discus and support Alarm noise in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; So i have a problem, you see, i have an alarm clock on, and whenever i go to change my volume it suddenly plays.     Alarm noise


    So i have a problem, you see, i have an alarm clock on, and whenever i go to change my volume it suddenly plays. Why does this happen?

    I appreciate your help, but there is nothing that I could do to satisfy you.
    I gave notify.wav because it was the closest I could come to the sound, I don't know which sound it actually played.

    Got to messing around and trying to boot from an external hard drive, (which never happened, got error 0XC0000225), and the alarm returned and I went through the 2 steps and still got the alarm.

    Software to separate noise from the human voice or song

    For audio, you could try Audacity. You can select a sample period where there is just the noise you want to remove, then filter that from the audio.

    I suggest you to refer the section “Can alarm still sound when my PC is off”, from the following Microsoft help article.

    Note: The steps for Windows 8/8.1 applies to Windows 10

    If the InstantGo application is in compatible with your computer, I suggest you to install it in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Follow the steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode:

    • Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
    • Right-click on the installer and click on "Properties".
    • Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.
    • Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
