Windows 10: Alienware Locking-up - DLL Issues

Hello -

I have Alienware M17 however, sometimes it simply locks up, i cant even hard press the power button to turn it off. The only option is to unplug it, leave it until battery is dead. then boot it up again.

I see FOUR events concerning in the event viewer :

1- WARNING : The Open procedure for service "BITS" in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\bitsperf.dll" failed with error code The system cannot find the file specified.. Performance data for this service will not be available.

2- WARNING : Unable to collect NUMA physical memory utilization data. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the status code.

3- ERROR : Windows cannot load the extensible counter DLL "C:\Windows\system32\sysmain.dll" (Win32 error code The specified module could not be found.).

4 - WARNING : The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}
and APPID
{15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}
to the user DESKTOP-QFQU2AS\moham SID (S-1-5-21-277149078-4127364376-3722841346-1002) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.


Other than that, i do hear the fan going a bit loud sometimes.

DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

 

Lock Screen Image Issue

I would suggest you to set the default pictures as the Lock Screen picture from the PC and check if it works or not.

Follow the steps below:

• In start type "settings" and press enter.
• Select Personalize
• From the left click on "Lock screen"
• Select the default picture and conform by preview.

d3d11.dll Issue

Hello,

I was trying to run an program on Windows 10, and it's giving me an error: "Could not load d3d11.dll".

Troubleshooting steps I have taken so far:

• Installed the latest version of Microsoft DirextX - downloaded from Microsoft website
• Installed all the updates from Windows update
• Check the path C:\\Windows\\system32\\ - the file is there
• updated graphic's driver - from Intel website
  • reinstalled the driver
• reinstalled the software that was giving the error.

but the issue is still not fixed
