I've carried this out on my PC and it works via key strokes [You need to follow exactly....]

1/ Switch your PC on and let it start normally
    2/ Press Windows key
    3/ Press Up arrow twice
    4/ Press Enter
    5/ Press Up arrow once
6/ Press and hold Shift and then press Enter

The PC should reboot into safe mode. Let me know how you get on.

  2. I appreciate your help very much. Tried the above exactly 3 times. The result is the same as before: Black screen after Medion.
What do you think of changing the Graphics card for an older one, or puting it in as extra so I can at least maybe see something? The problem is maybe caused by booting from the SSD and to fast for any keystroke.

You could try connecting your monitor to the built-in graphics card - may need to enable in BIOS...

I tried that for both connections (one HDMI). The PC gives in both cases a beep followed by two short ones and continued that until I switched off the PC.

    Hi

I wonder if the reason for the POST fail is that your on-board graphics is disabled. With your monitors plugged into the graphics card, are you able to enter the BIOS and enable the on-board graphics and then re-connect your monitor to the on-board?

  6. Good morning,
With the monitors plugged into the graphics card the screens are black. I have never entered the BIOS before, what is the procedure in case I get one day a working screen?

    Hi

Before windows starts is any text displayed on one of the monitors? If so, it should say display a message to press the 'del' key to modify the BIOS.

If you are able to, select 'on board devices' and enable the on board graphics card then save and exit the BIOS. The machine will now restart and you should be able to plug one of your monitors into the DVI port on the main PC.

    Hi
Got something at last. I pressed DEL when the MEDION tekst was on the screen.
Aptio Setup Utility - Copyright (C) 2013 American Megatrends, Inc.
With the following tabs: Main - Advanced - Boot - Security - Save & Exit

    Advanced gives:
    OS Configuration
    Trusted Computing
    Advanced BIOS Setup
    Advanced Chipset Setup
    CPU configuration
    PC Health Status
    Frequency/Voltage Control
    ME Subsystem
    Power Management Setup
    Intel (R) Smart Connect Technology

    Advanced BIOS Setup Configuration gives:
    Bootup NumLock State [ON]
    Quiet Boot [Enabled]
    MPS Revision 1.4

I could not find "on board devices" and did not change anything yet.

    Regards

Thinking about this a bit more - sorry I should have thought of this before...*Redface
If you physically remove the graphics card it should auto enable the on-board graphics card by you next switch on. Try that first and if not the following section:

All BIOS menu's are slightly different depending upon the manufacturer. Have a look under Main and if you can't find it just have look through the menu's. Depending upon what on-board (Part of your Mother Board) devices you have, you should see On-board sound and On-board graphics or video - you need to enable on-board graphics/video or set it to PEG/IGD.

    Regards

  10. Good morning,

It's raining here in Holland. You edited your message which I read yesterday evening. Before I read the edited one I did the following:
When tekst on screen press Del
    Select 'Advanced'
    Select 'Advanced Chipset Setup'
    Enter
    Select 'Initiate Graphic Adapter'
    Enter
    Select 'IGD'
    F10
    Yes
    Switch off PC

    Switch off monitor
    Connect monitor to internal graphics
    Switch on monitor
    Switch on PC

First I got a black screen but after sometime I had the Windows 10 wallpaper and I could login.

Thanks to your help which I appreciate very much.

Is it right to assume that the problem is the Graphics Driver and that I should download one who works with Windows 10?

*Smile Downloaded version 355.60. Installed the new driver. Changed in the Aptio Setup Utility IGD back to AUTO en now I have three screens back.*Eek
