    All audio devices giving code 19 after reboot


    After starting my pc this morning all audio devices are suddenly broken. Each of them give a Code 19 error, I tried rebooting, uninstalling and deleting all drivers, as well as doing so manually but I can't get my sound back.

    The error code 19 describes that, Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged.

    Recommended resolution

    • Uninstall and reinstall the driver.
    • Revert to the most recent successful registry configuration.
    Before we could reset the computer to factory settings, I suggest you to refer to the below article and perform the troubleshooting steps suggested for error code 19.

    No Audio Devices installed on my PC, Code 19 error

    was trying to fix my headset as it said their was a code 19 error, another forum said to restart the 'Windows Audio' in windows services. I restart my pc and now none of my audio devices are their, every time i troubleshoot the audio devices it says it has
    worked and i need to rtstart my PC. i restart it and still no audio devices.

    Please help as ive tried every suggestion on forums, including this one, and my audio devices are appearing in the Dveice Manager, but all with a yellow triangle by them and the error message says 'Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration
    information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)'

    im using windows 8.1 om a dell laptop.. keeps telling me no audio device found and when i go to update the driver error code 19 comes up
