Discus and support All browsers cover the task bar even when they are NOT in full screen mode. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; The only way I can fix it is restarting explorer.     All browsers cover the task bar even when they are NOT in full screen mode.


    The only way I can fix it is restarting explorer. This is unacceptable to fix a bug that has been around for months. Please advise on a permanent fix.

    Address bar (top screen) & task bar (bottom screen) keep disappearing

    Most likely Tablet Mode, as dmholt57 suggests.

    Turn On or Off Tablet Mode in Windows 10

    Another posibility is accidentally pressing F11 which switches a browser to full screen mode.

    Cannot modify Task Bar settings

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

    • Right click on the Task Bar.
    • Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
