Windows 10: All browsers download progress not showing and File Explorer Thumbnails not showing.

Hi, Few months ago, I factory reset my laptop. There were some issues with the file explorer not showing the thumbnails of pictures, I watched a tons of vids to try fixing it but nothing worked. My second problem started a month ago while downloading files, pictures etc in browsers. I used OperaGX which was working completely fine with downloads but after sometime the download progress didn't show so i deleted it and decided to use edge, but the download at the top right corner wasn't there when i started downloading a wallpaper. I cleared the browser and then it started working but after some

Many thanks for you reply. I have done all the steps you suggested, but no change,

When I open a folder containing photos, some open correctly but the vast majority open with thumbnails, but they very quickly get overwritten and you can not longer see the thumbnails.

Are there any more suggestions?

 

File Explorer is not showing thumbnails

My Canon camera has the updated firmware. When I downloaded to the PC and opened the File Explorer, I saw just icons rather than thumbnails. It is Canon RP file extension cr3. Other file extensions show thumbnails. How to solve this problem??

 

File Explorer - Some PDF's show thumbnail image, some don’t

In Windows 10 File Explorer, I see thumbnails for a few of my pdf files but still see the generic Adobe pdf icon for most of them.

• In Windows 10 folder options, the checkbox for “Always show icons, never thumbnails” is unchecked.
• On the Adobe Reader preferences general tab, “Enable PDF thumbnails previews in Windows Explorer” is checked.
• Adobe Acrobat is set as my default PDF viewer.
• I have used Disk Cleanup to delete all my thumbnails to clear and rebuild the cache, yet the problem persists.

Any suggestions on how I can see all the pdf icons as thumbnails?
