Windows 10: All Cumulative Updates Fail With Code 0x8007045d

Hello,


I've been experiencing an odd issue while using my computer.


My windows version is up-to-date and most updates can be installed successfully except for the cumulative releases.
They all seem to freeze once they reach 100% and then display the error 0x8007045d.


I tried installing the updates manually but that didn't work either.

I've checked my disk using HP's hardware diagnosis and there seems to be an issue with my hard drive.


Despite that, most updates are working and the system is performing well.

Is there anything I can do to fix this strange issue? I tried hiding the update using microsoft's "wushowhide.diagcab" program and although it worked, it's probably not an ideal solution.

Error code 0x8007045D when installing windows 10

@Ztruker yes i followed all the steps to the letter. i had gotten to step 15 (the installation of windows) where i had gotten error code 0x8007045D (the same error code as before) specifically it appears around 25-40% of the "getting files ready for installation" stage

 

Windows 10 Failed to update and getting error code "0x8007045d".

What does this code mean?

This was shown after a 5 hour installment. I am very disappointed!
