    All files inside folder disappeared and apps that were inside wont open


    So today I started my laptop and tried to start steam, but it wouldnt open. I noticed that couple icon are just blank papers. Then I went to my computer to check what's wrong. I opened one of my folders where I kept my steam and other files and it was empty. I dont know where they went, trash bin is empty and I checked for viruses in several antivirus programs. No visruses, no nothing. I dont know what to do

    I suggest you to Perform the below steps and install the Insider Hub.

    • Go to Settings, then System and then
      Apps & Features      .
    • Click on Manage Optional Features.
    • Click on Add a Feature.
    • Navigate the list, locate Insider Hub, and click

    Network Sharing of a Folder Inside User Folder

    Hi, I have three computers that I share with inside my network (as shown when opening file explorer). It works fine but every time I try to share a folder that's inside the user folder the other people on the network don't just see that folder they have
    complete access to every file inside the user folder. Anyone have a suggestion that allows people to only see that particular folder inside the user folder?

    For instance C:\Users\Rich\Pictures is the folder I want to share on the network but when I share the others see the whole C:\Users not just the pictures folder.

    Unable to change icons in Program Files folder, Program Files (x86) folder or folders inside

    If you can create folders inside System folders such as "C:\Program Files" then you must have changed the UAC setting away from its default value. This creates a risk for your machine.

    To modify things inside system folders you can do this:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt (cmd.exe)
    2. Type these commands and press Enter after each:

      taskkill /f /im explorer.exe

      (the screen will go black)

      explorer.exe
    By doing this you will allow applications to modify protected system files, folders or registry keys without first asking for your permission.
