Windows 10: All files on my ASUS laptop have been wiped without notice, what should I do?

After not using my ASUS laptop for a short amount of time one week to be specific, I decided to log on for once, after logging in I noticed that my background had changed, and that windows edge was open and was displaying the tab that would normally open after a new update or a factory reset, and after opening up the file explorer app I noticed that all my files, every single one of them had been wiped, except for some of the apps on my desktop. I tried logging out and logging back in, and nothing happened, I do have some of my important files saved on OneDrive, but the rest were on my lapto

There are no more files and ASUS Data Security Manager

I've been having the same issues trying to save files.

I followed all of the steps but ASUS Data Security Manager keeps reappearing. How do I really get it to delete? I've done the uninstall four times and it just pops back in the list.

 

Best laptop under $800??
