Windows 10: all files set to read only, and refuse to turn off

let me preface this with the fact that i have tried every single fix that i can find on here, on google, what have you.


no matter how many times i go into the properties box to untoggle read only, as soon as i close the box, it retoggles it, and no "fix" i have tried has worked. i have set my user account to full access, and done every little thing under the sun with no results.


please help me, im a digital artist and i can't save any of my open art files because of this stupid laptop.


im using an acer aspire 3, if that makes any difference

WiFi refuses to turn on

Hello,

A quick question before we proceed:

Is your computer airplane mode is turn on?

I suggest you to go to the follow the below step and check if you’re able to toggle the Airplane mode:

• 
  Go to settings and click on Network & Internet.
  
• 
  Go to airplane mode and toggle.
  

I also suggest you to check if the function key for Wi-Fi works or not. Kindly
Refer to your computer manual to check which function key do so.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Turn on File History in Windows 10

Hi,

To address your concern, we suggest that you turn off File history then add the drive again.


To turn off File History, please follow these steps:

• Click the Start​ button, select Settings.
  Click Update & security.
• Choose Backupand click More options.
• See advanced settings, then click the Turn off button.
  

Restart the system then turn back on File History and add the drive.

If the issue persist, run the System File Checker tool. System File Checker
scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.
