Windows 10: All in one making occasional popping/cracking sounds, don't knowwhat is causing it?

Hi,

in short, this sound usually starts sometime after starting to playing some kind of audio ie. a youtube video or a game.

but sometimes i hear it when nothing is playing at all.

i have no idea what could be causing it.

it's been an issue for months. I've tried all the sound suggestions i could see as well as updating my hard drive got it replaced so there aren't mechanical parts in it and seeing if a third party progrma is causing it it's not. i need this sorted asap so any help to work out the cause would be great.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?

Sound problem

Hi,

We need to investigate further so that we can identify the cause of the issue. We suggest running the Troubleshooter and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

• Type and select Troubleshooting on the Search bar/Cortana.
• Click Hardware and Sound.
• Select Playing Audio under Sound.
• Follow the steps that will be provided.

If the steps does not work. We suggest downloading a fresh copy of the audio driver from Realtek and see if it helps.
