All internet connections missing. The diagnostic policy Server not running error have tried everything please help

Windows 10 Loss of Internet Connection due to "Diagnostics Policy Service not running"

I've tried 3 different suggested methods to fix the Diagnostics Policy Service is not running problem. They all worked until Windows updated again and ruined the fixes, now those fixes don't work anymore. It will be a never ending cycle of fixes, when the
problem seems to be the most recent batch of updates from Microsoft itself. Are there any programmers out there that can fix the latest update itself, that keeps messing up the WiFi connectivity?

 

No Internet Connection, No Diagnostics Policy Service


Please help. My laptop is for some unknown reason not connecting to the internet via wifi or ethernet. It will also not diagnose the problem as it says The Diagnostics Policy Service is not running and it cannot fix it. Please can someone advise - I'm not super techy. but I am logical!

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Press
Windows key + X.

2. Click
command prompt (Run as administrator).

3. In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands. Press
Enter key after each command:

• 
  net localgroup Administrators /add networkservice
  
• 
  press enter then type:
  
• 
  net localgroup Administrators /add localservice
  
• 
  press enter then type:
  
• 
  exit.
  
• 
  Press enter and restart your computer.
  

Method 2:I would suggest you to follow these steps.

a. Press Windows + R.

b, Enter services.msc in search option.

c. Right click the Diagnostics Policy Services and
start the services.
