    All Microsoft applications suddently can no longer connect to internet all non-Microsoft...


    Desperately need help! About a week ago all Microsoft applications on my home PC Dell XPS 8930 can no longer connect to the internet. Everything else on my PC is working flawlessly - as long as not Microsoft, I have full connectivity to the internet. Applications that WILL connect to internet without issue include Kapersky Total Security, iTunes, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome. Applications that will NOT connect to internet include Word, Excel, One Drive, Edge, Windows update.I am running the most current version of Windows 10 version 22H2, OS build 19045.3693. I have TLS 1.2 enabled.

    Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

    Microsoft signals end of Paint program

    Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

    In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

    Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

    Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

    Microsoft applications not connecting to internet

    All the Microsoft applications (settings, Xbox app, Microsoft store, ect.) say there is no internet connection and can not access the internet. I can access the internet through the web browser as well as other applications that are not related to Microsoft. I have tried to update my PC but it also does not let me because it doesn't think I'm connected to the internet.

    Any time I try to open the Network and Internet settings the settings app will freeze and the close down.

    My PC is connected through an Ethernet cable and there is no issues with the connection there.
