Windows 10: All my documents and pictures are gone???

I got into my computer and all my pictures are gone, all the files, everything. I contacted Windows support and they remoted into my computer and couldn't find anything??? NO PICTURES???? Any ideas what to do, how I can get them back if at all? Hundreds of pictures from years and years just disappeared. They told me I either deleted them why would I do that or the account was deleted along with all the files?? I don't know if it happened with an update, but I tried to restore my computer back and that didn't help either.

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

 

Windows 10 printing issue while printing picture from Document files.

documents/pictures problem

Since downloading Windows 10 I have the following problem. On moving to the bottom of a list of documents or row pictures, before I can open the document, rename the picture, etc. the screen jumps back to the top of the list of documents or first row of
pictures. I thought it might caused by a mouse problem but I have used the touch pad mouse and external mouse to select the document or picture with the same result. Any ideas?
