  1. All my files moved to personal onedrive file and I don't know how to revert it.

One drive moved all of my documents and other files into the personal onedrive folder. Prior to this, I unlinked onedrive because it didn't have enough space to be useful. I then relinked onedrive because all my files disappeared. this then led to the current situation I'm in. Keep in mind that my onedrive cloud only has 5gb and all the files that were backed up were completely unimportant. Also, my files all together amount to close to 475gb.

  2. Onedrive transfer file to personal HD

Hello Caterina. I'm Greg, here to help you with this.

How are you trying to move the files from OneDrive to your PC?

If you have OneDrive signed in on the PC, and don't have Files On Demand enabled which keeps them in the cloud: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/enable-or-disable...

then you should just be able to copy them from the OneDrive folder to any other folder on your PC. If not let me know the exact error you get.

If the files are coming from the OneDrive cloud, then you need to download them first from Onedrive.com, or by clicking on the file link left by OneDrive when you have Files on Demand enabled.

Based on the detailed results you post back I will know what to suggest next.

All my files moved to personal onedrive file and I don't know how to revert it.

Files missing in confusion between "onedrive app" and "onedrive-personal in finder"....how to retrieve them?

    • After Mac upgrade few months back, onedrive app was not working.
    • Another version of onedrive was installed and it used to show as onedrive-personal in finder.
    • All files were being stored in this finder folder.
    • After last week upgrade, finder one-drive disappeared and earlier onedrive app has started working.
    • Problem is that the files stored in finder onedrive-personal are not to be found in onedrive app.
    • where do i look for my files saved over the past months and how to retrieve them?
