jpeg icons.

On my desktop, and on other programs when I wish to use photos, my jpegs have changed from small pictures to jpegs icons. I made an adjustment to speed up my laptop, now I don't know what did and how to correct it. My icons for
jpegs on my desktop, and other places used to show the actual pictures. Now it just shows this ugly little icon thing. I would like my pictures back. Also, the screen print quality has been reduced.

Can anyone help me change my desktop back to normal? I am running Window 10.

 

How do I change Taskbar Icon picture

My Adobe Acrobat shows up with a jpeg picture icon in the taskbar. Your suggested fix gives me the window with a grayed out change icon button that doesn't work.

 

Photo Icons in the Picture Folders

Hi,

Misconfigured view settings is on of the usual reasons why it is not displaying the actual photo. We suggest checking the settings of your folder to make sure it show the icons, instead of the thumbnail. Kindly follow the steps below to check it:

• Open Picture folder.
• Choose View tab at the top, then click the (Square icon) Options as shown on the picture below:
  
  
• Click View tab, put a check mark on the box beside the
  Always show icons, never thumbnails. See picture below:
  
  
  
• Close the folder, and check if you will be able to see the display picture for each icon.
