Windows 10: All my shortcut and lower keys except spacebar do not work

As mentioned in the title, my ctrl, alt and windows key do not work for some reason, I can't copy paste, alt tab out of my screen or open the windows bar by tapping the windows key. I have tried multiple fixes such as reinstalling keyboard drivers, troubleshooting, using commandprompt to fix it but none of these have worked for me. My alt gr key worked when the issue started but now its not working aswell. I am using a ROG strix flare keyboard and I cant get ASUS to help me.

Tried using SFC as you suggested and it went through all the steps successfully, but Windows key + Spacebar still doesn't work.

Looked at the link you gave and I see that one of the posts with a similar problem was using an HP Pavilion - same as me.

But it was the keyboard shortcut was working till the upgrade.

I've not tried Andre's suggestion yet.

• Are the arrow keys and spacebar key working fine other than online and steam games?
• Did you make any recent hardware/software changes prior to this issue?
• Do you face this issue in all online games and steam games?
• Have you checked if there are settings to change the controls in the game?

Follow these steps:

• Click on Troubleshooting.

Windows 10 shortcut key not working - Please help

Hey guys,

I'm trying to create a shortcut key for a program/script that turns off my monitor. I've confirmed that the small program is working by double clicking on it. The problem I'm having is that when I go to create a shortcut key for it. First I create a shortcut to the program, then I set a shortcut key, say "ctrl-shift-s". After applying the changes, clicking Ok, I try to use the shortcut by pressing the ctrl-shift-s key combination. When I do this, nothing happens. I've confirmed that shortcut keys works with other apps like the Command Prompt. Does anyone have any insight to this?
