Windows 10: All my video recordings are saying “Something went wrong” when I open them

I was doing some editing with photoshop and davinci resolve. Went to click on another video to edit and all of them are saying “something went wrong” when I open them . I installed windows media player and it’s also not working . Tried to make a new recording after the problem and it’s saying the same thing . Videos are in .mp4 and .mkv format .

Camera app says "something went wrong" while trying to record

Every time I were to start to record, my camera would say "something went wrong" with a bunch of numbers and letter underneath. Then, I followed a suggestion from Microsoft that happened with another person's microphone, and checking the properties to see
if they work and all of them said they worked, but obviously something is wrong. I played around with their settings, and it doesn't say it isn't working, it just doesn't work at all anymore. Help!

Can’t hear audio while recording games or videos

We will need some more information to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please reply with the following details:

• How are you recording the games or videos?
  
• When you say, “I can't hear anything” you are unable to get the in-game audio or your voice?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type:
  winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit
  Enter.
  

If you are using Game bar to record the games or videos, I suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + I to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Gaming.
   
3. Click on Capture on the left pane.
   
4. Clear the check box for Record gaming audio only.
   
5. Follow the same steps for Broadcasting.

windows 10 camera something went wrong

• If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue. That did not show up for step 3 and
  it keeps saying

Something went wrong

And it always says that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE HELP ME!!!
