Windows 10: All of a sudden the left and right click on Thinkpad stopped working

Hello,I have a Windows 10 Pro Thinkpad Yoga 260, and it was working fine until an hour ago, and then all of a sudden both the left and right click stopped working though the trackball and touchpad work fine.I checked the drivers in the Device Manager and they're up to date, and I'm not sure what's going on. I also did a diagnostic test and it appeared that everything moved on the screen except, again, the left and right click. I was a bit afraid to go into the BIOS though that may have something to do with it, and I'm not sure how to do it.I could be hardware issue, but it happened so suddenly

thinkpad windows 10 fingerprint sign in stopped working

the fingerprint sign in randomly stopped working on my lenovo thinkpad (windows 10). everything is updated and i've tried following steps on all forums, including uninstalling the fingerprint login.. now i cant get that back. any help?

I suggest you to check if the following steps helps to resolve the issue.

• Right click on the Windows key and Go to control panel.
• On the upper right corner change the view by to small icon.
• Click on mouse.
• Then click on ‘wheel’ tab.
• Set the values for horizontal and vertical scrolling.

I suggest you either

• Go to Control Panel and disable and re-enable the Wacom HID device driver; or
• re-install Windows 8.1. If you haven't deleted the restore files then this should be relatively straightforward.
  

The first worked when I had the same problem on my ThinkPad 10.
