Windows 10: All of my desktop icons are blue and white. How do I get them back to color?

I purchase a newer computer and transferred all of the data, files and programs. Now all of my desktop icons aren't color but blue and white monotone. I found a way to delete the icon cache and restart Windows Explorer. It worked, my icons were back to color. Then there was a popup wanting to start "Windows host process Rundll32. I didn't click Yes, it just ran on its own and all of my icons went back to blue and white. Oddly enough, all of the icons in the task bar are color.

Changing the taskbar color to white in Windows 10

In Windows 10 there is no option for changing the color to white but you can change it to different colors. To change the color of the task bar I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then select personalization.
• Click on color option on the left side.
• You will find an option called “show color on start, taskbar and start icon”.
• You need to on the option and then you can change the color accordingly.

Dear Sir,

some of the desktop icons at the top is covered by white color as shown in the above snip. This happen sometimes when I open the laptop. Pls. suggest to remove It permanently.
