Windows 10: all of my files are missing

a few days ago, i turned on my laptop to find that all of my files are missing. turns out i was logged in into a temporary account. the 1st and 2nd time i restart my laptop, the files are still there but it kept reset settings after reboot. after the third restart, all of my files are gone and im still logged in a temporary user.


yesterday, i contacted microsoft tech support, after making a new user with an administrator priviledge, we still cant find the files.


are my files are really gone or is there a way to get back those files???

I appreciate any help i can get. i will go to a local technician if a few days and i want to know if theres a possible chances that i can still get those files back. Thank you.

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

• What task are you trying to do every time that you get the error code “missing file rtl160.bpl?”
