Windows 10: All of my music de-attached itself from the Album Art somehow

So now I have a folder full of music files and full of AlbumArt .jpg files and have no idea how to combine them back..
I have no idea what could cause it.

Groove Music - How to add art to album or artist

How To Change Album Art

• Open up Groove Music.
• Click on an album
• Somewhere on the top, you will find 3 dots placed horizontally. Click on it.
• Click "Edit Info".
• Then click the box with the pencil on the corner.
• Done.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you can't find an album and it says "Unknown Album" Follow these steps

• Right click on a song.
• Click "Edit Info".
• Fill in the boxes (They will say Unknown Artist or Unknown Album)
• Then you will see the songs in an album (If you press Album on the side of Groove Music.
• Done.

I think WMP stores the album art in the folder with the music files but does not embed the album art in the actual file. iTunes does something similar but stores the album art in a database instead of in a flat file structure.



Just to make it clear, the problem is that the album art is not embedded in the music files.



There are several things that you can do:

• Load the album art onto the phone as images and link these to each album (not ideal as it requires quite a bit of work and the images need to remain on the phone and in the same location)
• Google "embed album art mp3" and download an application that can embed the album art.
• Import your music into iTunes, add the album art, and the convert to AAC (iTunes Plus) format which embeds the album art.

I am quite certain that people are having a problem not seeing what you are saying because they store their music on OneDrive.

YOU CANNOT EDIT MUSIC THAT IS STORED ON ONEDRIVE!!!!!!!!

It Sucks, I don't understand it. I really hope that Microsoft fixes this because I see no reason to use two Microsoft Programs - Groove and OneDrive, which are so incompatible with each other.

If it's not resolved soon I will take my music, and my storage, and go elsewhere.
