all open programs appear on main monitor after sleep cycle instead of where they were...

    Hi,

I have recently just reinstalled windows on my pc. I have the latest Graphics drivers. My pc has an internal Intel HD Graphics 620 and NVIDIA GEForce MX150.

I am currently using 2 screens and the monitor screen. Before I reinstalled windows, when the computer went to sleep all open programs would be where I left them. Now they all appear on the main display.

I have seen threads for this before but they were dated 2015 and did not resolve the issue for me:

    Thanks

    :)

  2. Sleep cycle question

At the end of the day, I put my system into the sleep cycle. Sometime throughout the night my system leaves the sleep cycle and shows the log-in screen. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? If I put the sleep cycle on during the day, this does not appear to happen...so far.

    I am running Windows 10.

    Sleep instead of Shutdown

I have a desktop computer running Windows 10. It has been working with no problems.

Recently it stopped shutting down. When shutdown is selected, it appears to shutdown, the monitor reports the video signal is lost and the lights go off on the PC.

However it you touch the keyboard it start back up again and goes straight into the desktop.

I have checked the configuration and the sleep is disabled and the power button appears to be configured correctly.

It doesn't appear to relate to any processing still running.

    Suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks
