Hi AllWe have a few Lenovo X1 9 Gen and 10 Gen blue screen doing different things on the PC showing an error related to cbfsconnect2017.sysStop Code: System_Service_ExceptionWhat failed: Cbfsconnect2017.sysWe don't use anything related to Cbfsconnect2017 as we know, so no idea what software is causing it to crash. How to remove Win 7 Enterprise and install Windows 10 Pro for Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd Generation Intel Core i7

I got a Lenovo x1 Carbon from a friend. How do I remove Win 7 Enterprise and install Windows 10 Pro for Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd Generation Intel Core i7? I know I missed the Jan 14 2020 upgrade deadline.

What are the procedures that I should do? I do not have much computer OS installation/removal experience.

Assuming all the data in this Lenovo X 1 Carbon can be erased.

'Generic PnP monitor' issue

I would suggest you follow steps to update the monitor driver:

Press Windows + X keys

Choose Device manager

Click on Monitors

Right click on ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and click on update driver

Tap on Browse my computer for driver software

Tap on Let me pick from a list of available drivers

Choose ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and tap on Next

When you are done please restart the computer.
