I tried clean my PC and I was cut the folder in this link:C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\MicrosoftI was cut the folder name Microsoft to another drive. After that all my profile account from 2018 to here was sync is pause, and cookie, password lost all. That is very important with my life. Have anyone know how to fix that?I was try to recopy and pasting from drive to folder Microsoft. But it does not work, the profile still pause sync.

Chrome decryption password for Cookies?

C:\Users\root\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cookies is protected with a password. I need to access this file to try to retrieve login details contained in an old cookie for an account I've lost.

I've seen various guides on how to decrypt sqlite databases generally, but what would the specific instructions me to decrypt the Chrome cookies file? This is for Windows 10, latest Chrome build 57.

 

Google Chrome Sync Paused

Not sure what caused it but for some reason google chrome keeps pausing sync and I have to sign in every time I open the browser. I switched to the hidden administrator account and the issue is not there. I have uninstalled chrome, reset chrome, added the address to the cookies section. I've done it all. I do not know what else to aside from a fresh windows install.

 

Lost all profiles for Thunderbird, Chrome etc after Windows 10 update

After Windows 10 updated it wouldn't let me log in any more. I got an error The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded.

I followed steps online to recover it (resetting State to 0 and RefCount to 0) and I can now log in. It had my state at 18948 but it was saying "Welcome..." with a spinner for over and hour so I gave up and changed the state to 0 and then it lets me log it. But maybe this messed up something?

But when I launch all my programs like Chrome and Thunderbird it has none of my configuration. It's treating me like I'm a new user with a brand new profile.

For example, for Chrome when I look at C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default it looks like this has all the history and profile data I want it to use. All the data there looks correct. But when I start Chrome it shows I have no history, no saved passwords, no saved cookies etc - instead it acts like a brand new Chrome install. But I'm confused because this \Default folder has the files that look right. So the same thing is happening with other apps too like I mentioned.

How can I fix this so all my programs have all their settings and options please? Thank you.
