Windows 10: All things connected by USB in my PC disconnect for a few seconds before turning back on

This has been happening for a couple of weeks now and I don't know how to solve it.Sometimes when I'm sitting on my PC watching youtube or something I hear the windows disconnect sound. My monitor freezes and my keyboard, mouse, headset turn off for a few seconds before the re-connect sound plays and everything turns back on.It's a lot more annoying when I play games- for example, when I play Rocket League the same thing happens, my monitor freezes and everything disconnects you can see how annoying that is when I play games. When it comes back on I get the "packet loss" icon.It seems like i

In fact it is completely normal and nothing to do with your problems. Note the indent of the first instance? That's because it is listed under 'This PC'. The second one is listed under Desktop, which also contains 'This PC'. You cannot change this behaviour, but you can collapse 'This PC' if you don't want to see two listings.

 

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

 

My Laptop turns off after 5 seconds....

Hi Norelle, can you please try the following steps for me:

• Remove the battery
• Disconnect the Power lead
• Press and hold the Power Button for 30 seconds
• Connect the Power lead
• Re-insert the Battery
• Turn your System on
