Windows 10: All Windows 11 text files have CRLF problem

I have Windows 11 Home and Microsoft 365 installed. Keyboard Driver Update

If you're using a hardware keyboard, ensure that its drivers are up to date:

• Expand the Keyboards category, right-click on your keyboard, and select Update driver.
  
• Choose "Search automatically for drivers" and follow the prompts.
  

Troubleshoot Hardware Issues

If you're using an external keyboard, try disconnecting and reconnecting it or try a different USB port. If possible, test with another keyboard to rule out hardware issues.

Reset Keyboard Settings

Resetting your keyboard settings might help if the issue is due to a misconfiguration:

• Go to Settings > Time & language > Typing.
  
• Scroll down and look for a reset option for typing settings. Note: This step may vary based on updates and the specific version of Windows 11.
  

Check for Software Conflicts

Sometimes, other software installed on your system can interfere with typing features. Consider any recent software installations that might coincide with the issue starting and try temporarily disabling or uninstalling to test. Perform a clean boot.

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get back on track.

The effectiveness of predictive text can also depend on the context and the specific application you're typing in. Some apps might have their own settings for text predictions or might not fully support Windows' predictive text feature.

PC Cant Obtain a IP Address, Need some advice!

Step 1: Click START button
Step 2: In the Search area, type "regedt32" (of course don't include the ""), right click on the search result and "Run as Administrator".

Step 3: Click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE", should expand out to a list of stuff
Step 4: Next choose "SYSTEM", should expand again
Step 5: Choose "CurrentControlSet", expands again
Step 6: Choose "Services", expands to a super large list of stuff

Step 7: Click on "Dhcp", the right window will show the files in that folder
Step 8: Double click on "DependOnService"
Step 9: Delete all the words in text area, except "Afd", and click OK. You are done here

Step 10: Next under "Services", look for "EapHost", this should be a few folders below Dhcp Step 11: Same thing, double click on the file "DependOnService"
Step 12: Delete everything in the text are and click OK. You are done.

Now, close everything and RESTART WINDOWS. Your WLan should be back and working once your computer starts. Hope this saves you like it saved me. Thanks to original poster for the wonderful resolution. Your post was almost too obscure to find, but I'm glad this is SOLVED! I'll be spreading the word around to save people from the constant agony of WLAN SVC going balistic every time after a registry cleanup."
