Windows 10: All Windows Apps Not Opening.

Hey, so my Windows Security wont open but when I do try and open it a rectangular box opens up on my screen and says "Check the Store for more info about Windows Security." it also says the app wont open. Well my computer doesn't even let me open up the microsoft store for some reason. Same for the Xbox app aswell, I can't even get to my games. I believe a virus did do this but according to AVG Security and Mcafee I dont have a virus. Can someone please help. Thanks.P.S. I sometimes cant open my files without the message popping up.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

You can't use it to add additional programs, only to set default programs.

Interestingly for me it shows nothing for text files:








Then if I want to add a portable app like Jarte Plus to open with context menu windows doesn't like it.





It's not present and is near impossible to add even via "look for an app on this PC"
