Windows 10: All Xbox Play Anywhere games getting stuck on splash screen

Hi, so I've recently developed this issue where when I attempt to startup Ark Survival it just get stuck on the blue splash screen.


I've already tried logging out of the windows store as well as the Xbox app, to no avail. I also reset the windows store cache, but that didn't help either, and I am not logged in on any other devices. The game never crashes or anything, it is just infinitely stuck on that screen.


I also went and downloaded Sea of Thieves for testing's sake, and it also get stuck on this screen. So it appears this issue is persisting with every Xbox Play Anywhere game.


I don't know if its related at all, but this problem only started happening after I made some hardware changes to my computer, most notably the motherboard and processor. The processor is now an i5 8600k, and the motherboard is a Z370 Aorus Gaming Wifi. So if that's any help there you go.

Gears of war 4 stuck at splash screen

I found a solution that worked for me. I noticed the issue was the xbox account app on windows 10 had signed me in under my windows email account rather than my xbox live email account, therefore leaving me stuck in the splash screen. I selected enter
a different account and retyped my xbox email account and password. Once it loaded my correct account the game finally loaded as normal and I was able to play again.
