Windows 10: Alldsp application refuses to install on XPS13

So I am trying to install an Alldsp application from this site:

DSP Software - FUNK AUDIO

The one listed under "Software to use with units shipped before November 5th 2016", 64 bit version (have also tried the 32 bit).

The software installs fine on a Lattitude x250 laptop running Windows 10 Pro.

However, when I try to install it on my XPS13, also running W 10 Pro, it starts the install process, then at a certain point "rolls back" and says it ended prematurely.

I have tried changing UAC, checking that I can sideload programs, turned off folder control and am allowing installation of apps from anywhere in settings.

But I can't figure out what is going on. The "funkaudio" version of the app (a few rows above the one I'm trying to install) installs just fine but I can't use that version.

Any ideas why it won't install on a particular laptop?

"Application Install install package failure!" while installing 13.9

Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and MSI 6970 Lightning.

I was upgrading from 13.4 after I did a clean uninstall with AMD Catalyst Install Manager.

Doesn't say what installation failed in the install log. Everything in the log says Success but at the very bottom it says "Application Install: install package failure!" but doesn't say what failed to install.

I only install video drivers and no CCC.

The only thing I noticed is AMD Catalyst Install Manager is not listed in my programs list.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
